6th Annual Woo Classic

Friday, June 28th, 2024

Celebrating the life of Brittany Woodard and honoring her passion for education. Woo Classic proceeds provide young men and women a scholarship to further their education.

Brittany Allison Woodard
June 27th, 1991 - April 5th, 2018

Brittany was a 2009 Graduate of Princeton High School and a 2013 graduate of Elon University where she received a BA in Media Arts and Entertainment with a minor in Political Science. After College, she moved to NYC where she worked for a variety of employers including Converse, New York Film Academy, and MAHA Partners before joining Sony Pictures Entertainment Studios of NY. There, she was employed as a Traffic Coordinator, building show formats with commercial insertions. Brittany Also volunteered weekly at the Paley Center for Media in NYC.

Brittany loved life and had many dreams and goals for herself. Unfortunately, kidney cancer took her life just 11 months after being diagnosed. She gave a good fight as she did in everything. Brittany loved education and would be very honored to know this "Woo Classic" is helping others to further theirs. Since our first Woo Classic in June of 2018, 18 scholarships have been awarded.
